Brooksie Way Marathon
In late September, the Brooksie Way half marathon passes Crown of Life where we serve as a water station for the participants. We are located at the 10.5 mile marker, so participants are quite thirsty when they arrive. The race organizers provide cases of water and live music. We have plenty of space for you to view your favorite runners and cheer on everyone.
Following the Brooksie Way Marathon, Crown of Life will host a Praise and Prayer Service at 11:30 a.m.
We are happy to welcome praise band Forever Free
The members of Forever Free have been playing contemporary Christian music in SouthEastern, Michigan for years. The current version of the group, ranging in age from 16 to 70, makes it clear that the Lord brought them together for HIS purpose. Their music features alternating lead male and female vocals, tight three-part harmony, and compelling musicianship. Whether leading worship, playing a benefit concert, or sharing an original song, Forever Free plays with passion and emotional depth deeply rooted in a desire to glorify and praise the Lord Almighty.
An indoor picnic will follow the worship service.
