Hello, my name is Doug, and I’m delighted to serve as your new Director of Worship Music / Worship Leader!  My passion is to be a “worship facilitator.”  I’ve been a worship leader for over 30 years and have served at many churches including St. Matthew Lutheran in Walled Lake, St. Peter Lutheran in Macomb, Trinity Lutheran in Clinton Twp. and St. Stephen Lutheran in Waterford.  I’ve led worship by myself, with small teams and with large teams during that time.  I play and lead with piano/keyboard primarily, but also enjoy playing bass guitar whenever I get a chance.  I can also get by playing acoustic guitar in a pinch, but usually play that just for personal fun.

My job during the week is Warranty Analyst for Electric Power Steering at ZF in Washington Township.

My wife, Shelley, and I have been married since 1996, and we have three children – Savannah (23), Alex (22) & Lily (12).  We are so excited to join the Crown of Life family as members and look forward with anticipation to see how God will use us together with you for His purposes here.
