Good Friday marks the end of Lent. It is a dark, somber reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice and willingness to take our place. Though innocent, he embodied our sins in order that the Old Adam within us can finally and totally parish. “He said, ‘It is finished,’ and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.” John 19:30
